I thought 'Unmasked' was by Gil! And now I know that Rio wrote the zombies, I will risk it - normally I don't care for zombie fic at all, but, you know, if it's by Rio. Tomorrow when I am awake! XD

odd sensation of looking forward to reading zombie fic......omg.

I couldn't remember who was playing and was too lazy/fail to look through the recipients so I thought I'd just wait for the reveal and see, in case there was anyone playing whose writing I didn't know (in that case, you know, I am not about to read zombie fic). But with any of the regular histories authors I don't mind venturing outside the comfort zone as I know it will be done so well, like how I adore the academia AU Oxford vomiting fic that you wrote for meeee!

Heh, I totally wouldn't have written you vomiting fic if I'd known you were phobic about it!

But there's nothing too graphically icky in the zombie fic -- there's one plot twist that's horribly sad, in the kind of way the histories fandom does really, really well, but the violence and ickiness is basically all offstage and implied.

I remember us talking it over a lot though and the way it fits into the narrow category of vomiting fics that are in no way triggering for the phobia! I'm so weird, god. XD

oh, I kind of want to read it now but at the same time I'm too out of it to appreciate fully. Patience is a virtue, self......
