My dissertation is on representation of fifteenth-century royal consorts in literature c. 1450-1610, but I'm focusing mainly on the Wars of the Roses. I have to say, seeing the entire cycle provided loads of food for thought, and I'm very glad I did -- my Shakespeare chapter seems considerably less daunting now.

I bought my Henry V ticket during one of the breaks in the daytime performances; I think it was sometime early in the afternoon. I grabbed the only £5 standing room ticket they had left. It's also possible that if you're willing to queue early before the box office opens on performance day, they might have some tickets set aside (I know in Stratford they saved 10 for each performance for people aged 16-25).
