geeking out on shakespeare's histories

There is so much to love here, I hardly know where to start, but let me focus in on one thing -- it's wonderful and heartbreaking that they all get on so much better in this world than in the real one. Richard and Edward being happy, Harry and Kate bringing Hal into their orbit -- Kate really getting to be PART of the battle instead of waiting and worrying at home, Hal fighting a battle that he knows is really worth fighting. And Richard and Henry in an uneasy alliance, of course. (I'm curious about how well Hal & Henry get along in this world, though they probably would have got on better if Henry was never king, regardless of the zombies.)
