geeking out on shakespeare's histories

I think Hal could be a Bowie contender. I can't remember where I was reading it, but apparently Bowie's the sort who, when people go "I THINK HE'S GAY", says "sure, why not? That works for my purposes" and lets them think it. The facts aren't quite as important as appearing to the public the way that they and he need him to appear. Something about that just smacks of Hal somehow.
