The scene fell into my head while I was writing another drabble in this universe (based on a throwaway line). I've just never been able to get over how cold Henry is in this particular bit of the play -- it came across perfectly in the RSC version, where he called for the traitors to be apprehended, and then, oh-so-calmly shot Scroop in the hand with an arrow. Gruesome, but effective.
