Thoughts (long and rambling) on the RSC Histories Cycle
I saw Richard II a few months ago and the rest of the cycle this past weekend, and took lots of notes. After (hopefully) making them more coherent, I posted them in my journal.

How soon before the performance did you get the ticket for Henry V? I was calling every day for a week, but it was eating up way too much of my phone credit (not to mention their hold music is Kenny G...do they have no compassion?)

I bought my Henry V ticket during one of the breaks in the daytime performances; I think it was sometime early in the afternoon. I grabbed the only £5 standing room ticket they had left. It's also possible that if you're willing to queue early before the box office opens on performance day, they might have some tickets set aside (I know in Stratford they saved 10 for each performance for people aged 16-25).
