Oh, I love this version of Anne Neville--clever, devious, ambitious and every inch her father's daughter. Her shift from hating Gloucester to accepting and becoming complicit with him surprised me on first reading. But on the second read, it doesn't surprise me at all. It fits. It fits seamlessly.
