Wonderful! So beautifully written, and so true to the characters. I love this bit, especially, because I can just hear and see Richard doing this:

A kingly arm slips about your shoulders. "Come," he says, "sit with us. Sit beside us."

The detail that he adds on "sit beside us." Somehow, it's just right.
